After scheduling your first visit at Ponoka Family Chiropractic, our team members will determine the best way to have you fill out our intake forms for our team to be able to best tailor to your individual health and wellness goals.
While filling out our required paperwork; we ask that you provide as much detail in your paperwork about your specific health needs. This will help our team understand and connect with who you are and help us serve you at our best.

If you are seeing a Chiropractor at our office, our initial visit is focused on taking a thorough history and conducting neurological and spinal examinations and testing.
This is an opportunity for us to connect with you and listen to what your health goals are. Other external testing such as x-rays may be warranted and is dependent on history and examination findings. An adjustment may or may not be provided on the same day. Please allot the appropriate time for your initial visit and plan to be at our office for approximately 45 minutes.
On your second visit to our office, the Chiropractor will go over the results of your neurological and spinal examination and present you with a care plan that is specific to your individual health needs. At this time any imaging will also be reviewed and any other recommendations will be discussed. It is our job to give you all the information and tools that will allow you to thrive and heal. Please feel free to ask questions or raise any concerns you may have. Please allot approximately 30 minutes for this appointment.
Being committed to your health, we feel it is absolutely necessary to stop and assess your progress at regular intervals. Healing is a process and results can vary for each person. We strive to keep our practice a practice member centred environment. These regular check-ins happen every 12 visits to be able to allow us to determine what frequency of care is required for your ongoing health, what other modalities may be needed, and how we can continue to elevate or maintain your current and future health status and goals together as a team.
Once we have gone through the first and second visit; our front desk team will start by checking in with you to determine if you had any questions from your second visit with the Chiropractor at PFC.
After, our team will then start off taking you a tour of our space showing you how to best experience your Chiropractic care while visiting PFC. The Chiropractor will then begin care with you based on your agreed care and care plan.
